For years we had dreamed of having a farm. Through the years we talked with family about the farming way of life and knew that was what we eventually wanted to do. Grow A Pear Farm was named many years before we actually bought farmland and it has so many meanings as you can imagine! The logo was created in 2017 and Grow A Pear Farm was trademarked.

We bought our farm property at the beginning of the Covid pandemic in April 2020. The property had a barn on it and it was just what we were looking for so that we could build a small farmhouse. We have chickens and pigs and a very large garden now. Our grandson loves working with us on the farm and we love having him help us. We are also very blessed to have family & friends who help us make this dream a reality!

Jodie has been making Wild Maine Blueberry Jam for 30 years and gets great reviews from family & friends. That is one of the products we expect to sell along with wooden products such as oven rack push/pull tools, boxes for fruits/veggie storage, aprons, coffee mugs, hats & t-shirts. Our saw mill is expected to be delivered in February 2023 – delayed due to the pandemic.
